Q: What is my size/what range
of sizes do you have?
A:
We carry all sizes from 28
to 38. When you buy Hornee Jeans,
you should order one size below your
normal jean size
(i.e. if you normally wear a 36,
order a 34).
Q: Are they button flies or
zippers?
A:
Guys have buttons, women
have zippers.
Q: Why are there no rivets on
front pocket areas like normal
jeans?
A:
We specifically designed
Hornee Jeans without rivets so they
don’t dig into your skin in
accidents, and to avoid scratches on
your fuel tank.
Q: Can they be washed normally?
A:
All Hornee Jeans can be
machine washed and tumbled dried.
You should refer to the label inside
the garment for specific
instructions.
Q: What is Kevlar®?
A:
Kevlar is a proprietary
brand of material manufactured
exclusively by DuPont
(see
Links
page).
Hornee jeans are manufactured using
Kevlar in our own unique weave. We took
Kevlar yarn, then experimented with a
variety of weave techniques looking
for maximum strength and comfort -
and it
had to be light weight. Each new
weave is sent to the CSIRO for
testing before being approved for
manufacture in Hornee Jeans.
Kevlar is amazing stuff – some of
its other applications include;
anti-mine boots, bullet and fragment
protection vests, tornado-proof
storm rooms.
And now used to save your arse when
you need it.
